主講人簡(jiǎn)介:

李澤元,美國(guó)工程院院士、中國(guó)工程院外籍院士、弗吉尼亞理工大學(xué)杰出榮譽(yù)教授、清華大學(xué)講席教授。

李澤元教授是弗吉尼亞理工大學(xué)電力電子系統(tǒng)研究中心(CPES)的創(chuàng)始人和名譽(yù)主任。作為創(chuàng)始主任,李澤元教授領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的CPES涵蓋電力電子領(lǐng)域的基礎(chǔ)研究、技術(shù)開(kāi)發(fā)、教育推廣、行業(yè)合作和技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)讓。迄今為止,全球已有250多家公司受益于CPES行業(yè)合作伙伴計(jì)劃。CPES也因此成為全世界范圍內(nèi)最具影響力的電力電子科研機(jī)構(gòu)之一。李澤元教授在電力電子領(lǐng)域做出了卓越成就,曾獲國(guó)際電氣電子工程師協(xié)會(huì)(IEEE)電力電子學(xué)會(huì)最高榮譽(yù)William E. Newell電力電子獎(jiǎng),并曾擔(dān)任IEEE電力電子學(xué)會(huì)(PELS)主席。李澤元教授長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)大力支持和幫助中國(guó)電力電子教育、科研和產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展。自1979年以來(lái),他到國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)術(shù)訪(fǎng)問(wèn)近百次。他先后邀請(qǐng)來(lái)自中國(guó)高校、科研院所和工業(yè)界的100余位教授及訪(fǎng)問(wèn)學(xué)者到CPES作長(zhǎng)、短期學(xué)術(shù)交流。他被榮聘為10余所國(guó)內(nèi)高校的榮譽(yù)教授或客座教授。自2000年以來(lái),李澤元教授擔(dān)任“臺(tái)達(dá)電力電子科教發(fā)展計(jì)劃”和“中達(dá)學(xué)者計(jì)劃”主任。迄今為止,兩個(gè)計(jì)劃已支持和資助國(guó)內(nèi)電力電子領(lǐng)域10余所頂尖高校的創(chuàng)新研究項(xiàng)目300余項(xiàng),頒發(fā)優(yōu)秀研究生獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金1400多人次,評(píng)選獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)了近60位“中達(dá)學(xué)者”和“中達(dá)青年學(xué)者”。李教授的研究方向包括高頻功率變換、電磁學(xué)和電磁干擾、分布式電力系統(tǒng)、可再生能源、電能質(zhì)量、高密度電力電子封裝和集成、建模與控制等,擁有107項(xiàng)美國(guó)專(zhuān)利,并發(fā)表了340多篇期刊論文。

Brief Introduction of Professor Fred C. Lee

Fred C. Lee, Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, Foreign Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech, and Chair Professor at Tsinghua University.

Prof. Lee is the Founder and Director Emeritus of the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech. As CPES founding Director, Prof. Lee leads a program that encompasses fundamental research, technology development, educational outreach, industry collaboration, and technology transfer. To date, more than 250 companies worldwide have benefited from the CPES Industry Partnership Program. Consequently, CPES has become one of the worldwide most influential power electronics research institutions. Prof. Lee has made outstanding achievements in the field of power electronics, receiving the IEEE Power Electronics Society's highest honor, the William E. Newell Power Electronics Award. He also served as President of the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS). Prof. Lee has long been a strong supporter and contributor to the development of power electronics education, research, and industry in China. Since 1979, he has conducted nearly 100 academic visits to China. He has invited over 100 professors and visiting scholars from Chinese universities, research institutes, and industries to CPES for long-term or short-term academic exchanges. He has been honored as an Honorary or Guest Professor by more than 10 Chinese universities. Since 2000, Prof. Lee has served as the Director of the "Delta Power Electronics Science and Education Development Program" and the "Zhongda Scholars Program". To date, these two programs have supported over 300 innovative research projects at more than 10 top Chinese universities in the field of power electronics, awarded outstanding graduate scholarships to over 1,400 recipients, and selected nearly 60 "Zhongda Scholars" and "Zhongda Young Scholars". Prof. Lee's research interests include high-frequency power conversion, magnetics and electromagnetic interference (EMI), distributed power systems, renewable energy, power quality, high-density power electronic packaging and integration, and modeling and control. He holds 107 U.S. patents and has published more than 340 journal papers.
