Martin Schr?der教授，歐洲科學(xué)院院士、英國(guó)皇家化學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士及愛(ài)丁堡分會(huì)會(huì)士，現(xiàn)任曼徹斯特大學(xué)常務(wù)副校長(zhǎng)兼理學(xué)部主任。作為國(guó)際化學(xué)界公認(rèn)的領(lǐng)軍學(xué)者，其在金屬-有機(jī)框架材料領(lǐng)域的研究處于世界最前沿。Schr?der教授在多功能MOF材料的設(shè)計(jì)合成、結(jié)構(gòu)解析以及氣體吸附分離與催化轉(zhuǎn)化方面的應(yīng)用取得了系列突破性成果，開(kāi)創(chuàng)性地將有害氣體捕獲與原位催化轉(zhuǎn)化相結(jié)合，實(shí)現(xiàn)從“吸附劑”到“分子工廠(chǎng)”的范式變革。其成果刊于Nature Chemistry、Nature Materials等國(guó)際頂尖期刊，累計(jì)發(fā)表SCI論文500余篇；并獲英國(guó)皇家化學(xué)會(huì)科戴-摩根獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆⒌贍柕侵v座獎(jiǎng)及尼霍爾姆無(wú)機(jī)化學(xué)獎(jiǎng)等多項(xiàng)國(guó)際重要榮譽(yù)。

Brief Introduction of Professor Martin Schr?der:

Professor Martin Schr?der is the Vice-President and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Manchester. A Member of the Academia Europaea and a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE), he is a world-leading authority on Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). He has achieved groundbreaking results in the design and synthesis of multifunctional MOFs for applications in gas adsorption, separation, and catalysis. Professor Schr?der pioneered the combination of harmful gas capture with in situ catalytic conversion, effectuating a paradigm shift from "adsorbents" to "molecular factories." His research, comprising over 500 SCI publications, has appeared in leading journals like Nature Chemistry and Nature Materials. He has been honored with major international awards, including the Royal Society of Chemistry's Corday-Morgan Medal, Tilden Prize, and Nyholm Prize for Inorganic Chemistry.
